About the program

Food and agribusiness management in association with UGC recognized universities involves the application of management principles and practices to the agricultural and food sectors. It includes the entire value chain: production, processing, distribution, marketing, and consumption of food & agricultural products.

The idea behind the program is to prepare industry-fit agribusiness managers equipped with real-time decision-making, problem-solving, and agility to achieve desired targets.

Scope of Food and Agribusiness Management

  • Agricultural Production: Managing farms, ranches, and agricultural enterprises to optimize productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Food Processing & Manufacturing: Overseeing processing, packaging, and manufacturing of food products ensuring quality and safety.
  • Supply Chain Management: Managing logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of agri-products from farm to table.

Applicants will be evaluated based on their profile, interest, and performance in the ISA’BEST exam.

Program Duration & Seats

Maximum 120 students will be admitted into the 2-year FABM program, including classroom learning, internships, live assignments, and placement assistance.
